Legsby Primary School is a small rural school at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds,  just outside Market Rasen. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere, in which all members of the community can learn and grow together. We are an inclusive school and we have high expectations for all our children and for our school.

  • PE and After School Sports Club commences on Thursday 20th April and will run through till 19th July.
  • It is Sports afternoon on Tuesday 4th July, this starts at 1.15pm and  families are welcome to attend. If the weather stops us from holding Sport's Day the reserve day is Thursday 6th July.
  • Summer Fete - This is being held at school on Friday 7th July between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
  • Leaver's Assembly - It is that lovely but sad time of year where we say goodbye to our year 6's and welcome year 2's into their new class and year group. There will be a Leaver's Assembly for Year 2's and Year 6's on Wednesday 19th July at 2.00pm.  

1:1 Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Legsby Primary school are looking for a caring, dedicated and professional person who understands, and will be a full part of, our inclusive ethos. It is desirable that the ideal candidate will have experience of working with children who are on the autistic spectrum, and be a person who is a resilient and enthusiastic team player with a sense of humour. They will be able to deliver learning support provided by the teacher. The role will primarily be to provide enhanced provision for an individual child in Year one who is currently in receipt of an EHCP and funding. 

The post is for 17.5 hours per week (3.5 per day,) it is temporary dependant upon the needs of the 1:1 child.

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
